Anchor of Salvation International Ministries Inc.
November ~ December 2006
Dear Friends, with this letter, we wish to share with all of you who are part of our ministry, the wonderful works of the Lord that He has so graciously given us during this year of 2006.
In January, we went as a family to Amsterdam, Holland, Istanbul, Turkey, and Paris, France.
We were able to distribute more than 2,500 tracts in our travels, and see two salvations, a beautiful Tibetan girl in Amsterdam, and a Muslim in Istanbul. My children gave out the major portion of the tracts in the cities, doing an awesome work for the Lord!
In February, our ministry was carried on in Melbourne, Australia, with many salvations, deliverances, and miracles. Milton preached at 5 churches and a prison, and had the blessing of seeing Hindus and Buddhists meet Jesus in Person. The Lord truly blessed us with signs and wonders following the Word.
March saw a tremendous crusade in Manila, the Philippines, with hundreds coming to the Lord and miracles abounding. Milton preached at 3 churches, held an out-door crusade, ministered in 2 prisons, also at a FGBMFI meeting, and pastors’ conference, as well as in 2 orphanages and a lawyers’ prayer meeting. The highlight of this trip was Milton’s being able to appear on CBN Asia, to give a testimony on T.V. Many miracles were seen, including a prisoner set free many years before her scheduled release date! Milton ministered with Pastor Wally Malangal, the Philippine missionary to the Muslims who was almost executed in Saudi Arabia
April was a time of ministry in Vancouver and Portland, and praise to the Lord for nearly four years of ministry through the Alvarez home, with weekly Bible studies and prayer vigils. We had the privilege of ministering in the Rosa de Saron Hispanic church in Portland, Oregon, where we saw many set free and healed internally by the power of the Holy Spirit. In May, we participated in a Bill Glass WOC (Weekend of Champions) at Fresno, California, where hundreds came to the Lord. In June, it was possible to return to Bogota, Colombia, with my wife Eneida, spending two weeks there. We saw the glory of the Lord as we ministered at 5 churches, an orphanage, 4 prisons, and a national air force academy, with 30 salvations. We prayed for a young girl at a school, who saw Jesus, and in the entire ministry trip hundreds were set free and blessed by the Holy Spirit.
In July, it was possible to return to Melbourne, Australia, where I was blessed to minister in 5 churches, Teen Challenge, a FGBMFI dinner. At a funeral service, Rev. Ira Pryor invited me to preach, and over 30 people gave their hearts to the Lord! It was a tremendous blessing and honor to pray for their families. This was a Holy Spirit highlight. We were also able to pray and minister to the students of Harvest Bible College.
In August, I was blessed to go with my son Joshua to a Bill Glass event in Recife, Brazil, where we ministered in 5 prisons and 1 mental institution. The entire week saw thousands come to the Lord, and lives radically changed by God’s grace. It was exciting for Joshua, age 15, to have the opportunity to enter the prisons and minister along with me.
September saw ministry in Boise, Idaho, where I ministered to men on Death Row, with a result of three salvations. A few days later, I was off to minister in Ponnur, India, traveling there with Dean Taylor from our Vancouver Shiloh Fellowship Church. We flew to Delhi, then Hyderabad, and on to Ponnur by bus. We were the first foreign missionaries they had ever seen, and what a privilege and blessing it was for us all. We held a Pastors’ Conference with over 250 pastors coming from all over India. We were also able to minister at 2 orphanages, a leper colony, 4 churches, along with individual ministry. On the second week I went to Sri Lanka to minister in 5 services, which were glory meetings. Upon our return, I went back to Boise, Idaho, to minister in churches and home groups.
October saw participation in a WOC in Houston. A special highlight was seeing a Mexican inmate who was dying of aids come to the Lord. We also had a Muslim from Pakistan come to Jesus. The rest of the month has been dedicated to the continuing ministry in our home and through our church. In November, we will be ministering twice in California, and also through Women’s Aglow in Vancouver. We are being requested for ministry in Malawi, South Africa, Darwin, Australia, Sri Lanka, and Kuala Lumpur, all projected for early 2007.
We praise the Lord for His tremendous blessings upon our ministry this year, permitting us to see spiritual fruit on three continents and in over nine nations the world over. He has been faithful to us in every way, but at this time, we need to bring before you, our friends and supporters, the financial needs of the continuing ministry. As we have ministered abroad, the costs of running a home and educating the children are ever present, as well as the continuing outreach to others through our home. Offerings in most foreign countries are not always forthcoming, and many view us as having all we need since we come from a rich country. You can be a co-laborer with us these final days of tremendous spiritual harvest, before the Lord’s return, through your faithful support and also prayer backing. Thank you for your kind attention and your generous giving, to see us reach the nations. Please send all donations to Anchor of Salvation International Ministries, Inc. at the address given above.
In Jesus Christ,
Milton and Eneida Alvarez

In the morning I participated in programs at Ellis Unit and in the afternoon I was at Estelle Unit and Plane State Jail. The response was awesome as the inmates were so hungry to hear the testimonies and the Word of God that was spoken. We saw grown men and women broken by the power of the Holy Spirit and entering into the Kingdom of Light. On Saturday I did programs at the Ellis Unit again and also the Goree Unit. It was quite a day as we finished at 3:00 PM and we left to the airport for our flight home. In all, the ministry had over 2,500 decisions for the Lord. P.T.L.
P.S. Will you please help our ministry to keep on doing this and much more? We have many trips coming up but we need your help to do all of this.
Australia Ministry Trip January 2006
Took our flight from PDX to Newark. Arrived in Newark at 3: 53pm, at 7pm we departed to Amsterdam, Holland. We arrived in Amsterdam at 8:15am with the whole family. Excellent flight.
From Schipol Airport we took the train to the central station and walked the whole of Amsterdam, we also got to distribute over 500 tracts in the city and airport. At the airport we had a young girl by the name of Prinda who accepted Jesus; she was flying back to Katmandu Nepal and will be a powerhouse for the Lord.
At 9am, January 24, we flew to Istanbul on KLM arriving at 12:30pm. We called for a taxi and arrived that afternoon at the Erboy Hotel which is in the section of Sirkagi, which is in the old city. A sudden snow storm had hit Istanbul and we were very limited in what we could do. Joshua and I went and distributed about 100 tracts at the Spice bazaar and stores. We got to distribute a total of 1,000 tracts in Istanbul and left 500 tracts at a Christian ministry.
Mindful that Turkey has 71 million people and only 3,750 Christians. On the day that we left, we led our Muslim driver to the Lord. On Sunday January 29, at 9am we departed on out flight to Paris, France on Air France. We had a bit of turmoil at Charles De Gaulle as they had removed all their lockers and we had no place to leave our belongings. We extended our stay by one day and took a hotel at Garedu Nord and had to take all our luggage with us.
In Paris we practically walked the whole city from the Plaza Concorde to the Arc De Triunfe. We also walked to the Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysee. We distributed over 500 tracts through out all of Paris. On Tuesday, January 31 at 1:45 we arrived back at the airport for our flight to Newark and then onto Portland Oregon arriving home at 10:30pm. On our arrival, our good friend and minister Dave was waiting to take us home. I only had one day to get our family affairs in order before flying out to Melbourne, Australia.
On Wednesday, February 2 at 10:30pm I left from LAX on United Airlines enroute to Melbourne. What a quick turn around and blessing. I came to arrive in Melbourne on Friday, Feb 4 after losing one day traveling and was met by my good friend Kameel Majdali. No time to rest as we walked most of downtown Melbourne, Victoria Market, then went see the beach at St. Kilda. On Saturday, it was rest and prayer day and on Sunday I preached two powerful services at Christian Life Assembly of God. The first service was at 10:30am and finished at 3:30pm, the evening service was at 6:30pm and finished at about 10pm. The pastors Lucky and Dami are from Sri Lanka and the power of God exploded as we ministered to about 200 believers in deliverance and inner healing, the evening service was just as powerful with a Hindu young man accepting Jesus as Savior and other Hindus slain in the Spirit.
On Tuesday, February 7 at 7:30 pm I preached at Cranbourne AOG whose pastor is Carey Crockford known as Crocky, where we saw the power of God come down over the people, the pastor was slain under the Spirit for 30 minutes.
On Wednesday we returned back to Lucky’s church having a powerful service where we gave a deliverance seminar and saw the whole church come forward for ministry by the power of the Holy Spirit. People were being slain in the Spirit before the teaching, this service ended about 11pm. On schedule is our home meetings, prison, youth meetings, meetings with Spanish pastors and also FGBMFI. We also have two services at Clayton AOG on Sunday, February 12. The power of the Holy Spirit has been awesome here in Melbourne as we have also been invited to Malawi Africa, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong, to God be the glory.
On Friday, February 10 I will be at Barwon Prison in the morning and also will be doing a youth meeting at Christian Life Assembly in the evening. On Saturday morning we will get together with leaders from the FGBMFI, in the afternoon I will be meeting another lay-leader for coffee and in the evening I will be preaching at the Good Shepherd Church which has a Spanish congregation located in Sunshine, which was where revival first broke out in the early 1900’s.
On Sunday I will be preaching two services at Clayton AOG, one at 10:30 am and the other at 6:30pm. On Monday I will be going out with Pastor Crocky to see the kangaroos in the morning and also be doing a seminar to the Spanish pastors at the Good Shepherd church at 7:30pm. On Tuesday morning I will be meeting with Steven Teo from Singapore who will be doing a conference on foundation for our ministry. In the evening at 7:00 pm I will be back at Cranbourne AOG with pastor Crocky. On Wednesday, Feb. 15 at 1:20pm I will be heading back to the USA. PTL
Oh, I forgot to add “Happy Birthday Milton” as I turned 55 here in Melbourne on February 6.
2nd Trip to Colombia
On November 3rd-21st, we embarked on our second trip to Colombia. On this trip we saw a duplication of the the ministry and anointing. I had the blessing of preaching in Bogota, Baranquilla and Cartagena. In all, we ministered in eight different churches, four prisons and five rehabilitation centers. Every city was unique as to the climate. Cold in Bogota and warm in Barranquilla and Cartagena. In Barranqilla I ministered in a pastors’ conference to which over 150 pastors came to receive and be touched by the Lord. In Cartagena at the Woman’s prison, two prison guards fell under the power of the Holy Spirit. We saw many miracles and many churches changed by the power of God. In Bogota, I got a call from an ex-senator who needed prayer, and she was touched by God. When she got up she felt that she wasn’t the same--the Lord had transformed her spiritually.
Only an excerpt from the 2nd. trip to Colombia By Milton Alvarez.

Healing and Deliverance Conference
On Friday and Saturday, August 12-13, Anchor of Salvation Int. Ministries held the “Setting The Captives Free” healing and deliverance Seminar in a Red Lion Hotel in Vancouver, WA. Like a Pastor said “It was God’s power”. There was teaching, preaching, evangelizing and ministering to the people. On Friday August 12, Evangelist Milton Alvarez started the session with the teaching “Spiritual Authority For Deliverance” when he finished the teaching he ministered to the people that were there. That night many people were set free and healed. On Saturday at 9 A.M. Evangelist Milton Alvarez started the first session. Mrs. Eneida Alvarez followed after him teaching on “How To Keep Your Deliverance." The next session was by Milton Alvarez and then he gave it over to Sally DeArias who prayed with the people for the breaking of generational curses. The highlight of the whole conference was on the last session, which truly was the “miracle” session. In this session the Holy Spirit worked in a powerful way from the praise and worship to the laying on of hands on the people. In this session many were set free and healed. The pictures from this sessions are found in the Photo Gallery. This conference was truly a success, we want to keep on doing these things but we need your gifts large or small to make this possible. God Bless you as you sow your seed.
In this page we have put some of the Ministry Reports of the year 2006. This reports cover some of the things that Anchor of Salvation International Ministries, Inc. did in 2006. We hope this blesses your life.
