The Ministry of Milton & Eneida Alvarez

Full Gospel Businessmen's Fellowship International Caribbean Convention October 15-20, 2008

The FGBMFI Caribbean Convention in Trinidad was a tremendous success. Trevor Joseph, from Port-of-Spain, headed the crusade and the convention. He did an admirable job, and this convention solidly bonded the nations of the Caribben to the calling of God on their lives. It was a great opportunity to see men from countries that we had not been able to fellowship with for years. The inspiring teachings of Dr. Peter Gammons and Dr. Lawrence Tetteh were life changing. One of the highlights was being able to be with Colonel Nestor Ogilvie of Grenada, former head of the Caribbean Police Force. Ministry came daily as we met the prayer needs of the members and their families.

On Friday morning, Oct. 18th, I had the privilege of sharing my testimony with the 300 people present. On Saturday we saw hundreds come to the Lord at the crusade in Ato Bolton. This venue was named after Trinidad's greatest track star. The crusade was organized by the FGBMFI membership, led by Drs. Peter Gammons and Lawrence Tetteh. Their teachings were powerful, leading hundreds to make decisions for the Lord. Many also were healed and delivered by the power of God.

New York Ministry October 29-November 3, 2008

At this time we had the privilege of being in New York City to pray for the international economy, the stock market, and Wall Street. We were able to meet with Cindy Jacobs and her group of 42 intercessors, who were also in the city for the same purpose, that of praying for the restoration and repentance of our nation. We were joined in NYC by Matt Seppala and Manuel Gil, who accompanied us on the nightly prayer walks. Manuel richly blessed us with his anointed praise and worship. We had a powerful time of prayer walking Wall Street and by the stock exchange at 10:00 p.m. that Wednesday night. We prayed and repented on behalf of our nation. This seemed to have been a perfect hour, as traffic was light and we were able to pray unimpeded.

On Thursday morning we joined Cindy Jacobs and her intercessors at the Marriot Hotel near LaGuardia Airport. From 1:00-3:00 p.m. we had the privilege of being at the United Nations with this same group. The UN auditorium was filled with over 150 believers who came to pray for the nations. The miracle of our being able to enter there was through a Christian friend named Patricia Pantojas, who has a diplomatic position there with the African nations. Three years ago, in response to her mother's request that I pray for her, I had prophesied that she would be working at the UN. The Lord brought all this to pass, changing her status of a student on a six-month visa to an employee of the UN! The Lord inspired our current visit to the United Nations and entrance there through her instrumentality, for otherwise we would not have been able to attend that prayer session.

On this same day, Cindy Jacobs gave me a prophecy that the Lord is pleased with the service I am doing for the nations; and because of my efforts to reach the unsaved on an international level, He will put the nation of Spain, especially the cities of Valencia and Segovia, into my hands, also Italy from north to south, and Portugal, for evangelization. What a great and merciful God we serve!

The following Saturday and Sunday, Joshua and I ministered in Boston and in New Hampshire. Greg Voykhansky, a prayer partner of mine from Russia who had recently opened many doors for me in Moscow and St. Petersburg, also opened doors for us in Boston. In Newton, Massachusetts I preached at the Messianic Temple Beth Yeshua, where there were three salvations and the power of God for many deliverances. A high point in the service occurred when the Russian translator interpreted brief words I gave in Spanish into Russian, without even realizing he didn't know Spanish! The power of God came down like fire, and people fell to the ground crying and calling upon Jesus. Meanwhile Joshua was ministering in New Hampshire with Manuel and Matt, where the Lord's power was also seen in countless healings. Some of Matt's family is from NH so he was the instrument the Lord used to open doors for our ministry there.

We were blessed on Sunday to be able to preach at the Bridge House, a rehabilitation center in Framingham, Massachusetts, founded by Tom Stevens for the rehabilitations of offenders released from prison. It is Christ-centered, and even the government has seen its effectiveness in turning hardened criminals into God-fearing men. At this service, ten accepted Jesus, and there were also many healings and deliverances among those who had endured years of suffering. The next day, Joshua and I returned to NYC for some final shopping, and sightseeing, then back to Philadelphia for our return flight to Portland. We thank the Lord for the grace He gave us to preach the Gospel in power and might on this trip, through the Holy Ghost.

Evergreen Cemetery funeral for Louise Majdali November 5, 2008

We were very pleased to be called long distance from Australia by our good friend Dr. Kameel Majdali, asking me to officiate at his mother's funeral. We had frequent contact with Louise in the past, and it was very special to be able to commemorate her at this service. During that event, a live phone call came from Kameel in Australia and he read two tributes to his mother over the speaker system. It was a blessing for the thirty people in attendance hearing him speak and eulogize his mother's life. God touched them in a special way and when we gave an altar call, six people gave their hearts to the Lord. Kim Majdali, Louise's other son, did an excellent job on details for the service, including the preparation of the meal that followed, done by a chef he had contracted. The food was succulent and service impeccable. All in all, it was a great honor to be able to show the joy of having been a part of this awesome woman's life, and the many people she had touched.

        India Ministry Trip 2008

Cities visited: Mumbai, Bangalore, Calcutta, Bagdogra, and Siliguri City

On November 20th, I flew from Newark, NJ to Mumbai, India. This was the third mission trip to India in two years, and by far the most productive. During the long layover for my flight to Bangalore the next morning (Saturday Nov. 22), I was able to have the blessing of giving out tracts at the airport. I was met at the airport by my host and good friend, Manoj Chapra, who is the strongest man in India and fourteenth strongest in the world. This day was for resting from the long journey and also doing spiritual preparation for the upcoming two weeks of ministry.

On Sunday I had the privilege of preaching at the Ebenezer Church, with Pastor Paul Timothy. The power of God came down in the two-hour service, blessing the people with healings and fresh visions from Heaven. On Monday, Nov. 24th, I participated in Christian Businessmen's meetings, first in the morning and then again in the afternoon with leaders of the city. The following day I attended an early-morning businessmen's meeting, and then at 9:15 a.m. accompanied by Manoj, a school program was held at the Sinclair Middle School. Here we prayed for over 500 students, many of whom made decisions for Christ. Manoj did his strongman act, which included tearing up a phone directory, and bending steel bars. It was good to have him as a bodyguard!

On Wednesday morning we ministered to over 800 girls at the Baldwin Middle School, then in the afternoon at the CMR School, with over 500 students. At the 7:00 p.m. Rehab outreach, 12 people gave their lives to the Lord. At all the schools, we prayed the sinner's prayer and personally blessed the students individually one by one, which numbered over 1,300 in all. On Thursday I flew from Bangalore to Calcutta, then on to Bagdogra in the Darjelling area of northeastern India, which borders five countries. We met with Pastor Dipack from Orissa and ministered to his group of pastors in the persecuted state. To reach the churches we had to ride six hours round-trip on motorcycles, close to the Tibetan border. At the conference, the pastors were touched and refreshed by the Word of God. I departed that evening by train for a twelve hour ride to Calcutta, then a two hour flight to Mumbai.

On Saturday I arrived at Mumbai airport, where I was met by Pastor Ju. I arrived in the wake of the terrorist attacks, where 179 people died. We were blessed to be able to do a prayer walk at the Taj Hotel, Oberoi Hotel, and the Nariman House, where the Rabbi and his wife were killed. We pleaded the blood of Jesus over the city, and prayed for repentance. On Sunday we had a powerful service at the Glorious Gospel Church of Pastor Regina. Here we had over 30 salvations, including a Hindu construction worker who crossed the street to accept Jesus.

All in all, this was a Heaven-sent mission, where we saw hundreds accept Jesus as Savior. Pray for the persecuted pastors in the northeast part of India, and for the devastation in Mumbai. On our last night there, we contacted a famous Bollywood singer, who accepted Jesus and will do future crusades. To God be the glory for taking us where we had least expected to minister, and saw the faithfulness of His servants in India.

Praise the Lord for His multiplied blessings during my recent ministry trip to Russia and Estonia. On July 23 I flew from Portland, Oregon to Moscow, my third trip to Russia in two years. This was by far the most fruitful and anointed mission, with the Lord moving in power and might to perform His marvelous works. In Moscow, I was received by my good host Vitaly, a very anointed worker for the Lord. He is also a very fast driver, who got us to his home in 20 minutes, which normally is an hour’s drive. After a few hours of rest, we were off to Red Square to minister to the people passing by there.

With it being summer in Russia, it was still light at 10:00 p.m. We had the privilege of leading a 19-year-old girl, Olga, to the Lord, after presenting the Gospel to her in a clear way. On Friday afternoon I met Vagan and Ludmilla at the Belarus Consulate, and they took me to the meeting of the FGBMFI (Full Gospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International) there. That night I took the train to St. Petersburg, and during the 12-hour ride was able to distribute tracts to the passengers. Upon arrival at St. Petersburg, I was received by my host Alexandre, and Andrei, from FGBMFI and also my very anointed translator Viera. On Sunday the 27th we led a service at the Source of Truth church with Pastor Mihail Kotev, and at the end anointed personally over 1000 people: one person made a first time decision for Christ.

Monday evening the Lord blessed our 7:00 p.m. FGBMFI prayer meeting. In the Tuesday FGBMFI luncheon meeting in a local restaurant we saw four decisions for salvation. On Tuesday evening we led the praise and worship team from Source of Truth in a powerful Holy Spirit prayer service. We saw the Holy Spirit touch many lives that night in deliverance and inner healing. Many had visions of heaven and confirmations were solidified. Wednesday morning we made a three-hour trip to the rehab centers on the Estonian border. Here we had two services, one at 2:00 p.m. and another at 7:00 p.m. where we saw sixty plus salvations, including two Muslim women from the Russian Republics.

That evening at 8:00 we drove to Narva, Estonia with Sergei Rozav from the rehab in St. Petersburg and on the other side of the border in Estonia we met with Jahr and his translator Julia. From here we had a one-hour drive to the rehab center, which was near Talinn, the capital. On Thursday, we held services at 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., with one salvation. During that afternoon we took a tour of Talinn and a 5:00 p.m. dinner at the Bosporus Restaurant, where the chef was a rehabilitated man with a tremendous testimony.

On Friday, August 1st we drove back to St. Petersburg, then held an afternoon service at the New Life Rehabilitation, ministering to their workers. Saturday we participated in a youth crusade organized by Pastor Alexandre Shivosky, renting a theater for the meeting. We praised the Lord for the 20 salvation decisions made there. At 7:00 p.m. our host paid $70 a ticket to give us the privilege of attending the Swan Lake ballet performed in the beautiful Mariinsky Theatre, the second most famous ballet theater of Russia with the world renowned Kirov Ballet. This was special to me as in 1978 I was dating a ballerina from the Kirov in St. Petersburg and I was also involved in underworld activities.

On Sunday in the morning service of the Source of Truth Church (1,200 members), there were 20 salvations. Also during the service the Lord led us to pray for Israel. He manifested His glory and power, as the worship team led in music from Israel and we prayed and worshiped in the Spirit. In the afternoon we held another youth crusade meeting, with over 25 salvations. Monday morning allowed us time to shop for souvenirs and to eat at a sushi restaurant. There a waitress accepted the Lord. At the 7:00 p.m. FGBMFI prayer meeting there was one salvation.

Tuesday’s luncheon saw one salvation, then in the evening we participated in a praise and worship service led by Timoteo Kolev. That evening we prayed till past midnight for family needs of the people. Wednesday morning, after an early flight back to Moscow, Igor and Sergei, anointed men of God, met me at the airport. We ministered at a FGBMFI banquet at noon with Ludmila, Peter, and Vagan, fellowship and prayer followed in afternoon and evening hours, and we finished at 10:00 p.m. that evening, the eve of my return trip to the USA. Last September 2007 we had prophesied that God was going to do something tremendous through the FGBMFI in the Russian government. This prophecy has come true as the FGBMFI are preparing a spiritual warfare conference at the Kremlin Convention Center for October 2009. This was envisioned by the leadership in Moscow, spearheaded by Vagan and will be the most powerful spiritual event that has ever happened in Russia.

Thank you Lord for your faithfulness and the privilege to serve you. Please keep us in prayer. You, as supporters, are vital to our being able to go to these different nations, and take the Word of the Gospel around the world. Please pray about helping us, as the Lord leads you, with these ministry and financial needs. “How shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, how beautiful are the feet of them that preach the Gospel of peace, and bring glad tiding of good things,” Romans 10:15. Yours in Jesus, Milton and Eneida Alvarez Rom. 10:8-10

Snapshots of Revival in Russia!

On May 17, 2008, I arrived in Melbourne after a long flight from LAX. The Lord has been opening up the doors to Australia and the Pacific to do His work. What a privilege to watch God put a schedule together by His hand.

On Sunday, May 18th I had two powerful services where we saw many nationalities come together as we had prophesied in January to Pastor Rene Lopez, that God would bring people from different nations to his church. In the evening we had a powerful service with Pastor Kapao from the Cook Islands . They had rented a community center and the grace and mercy of God came down. We saw people healed and delivered and also powerful visions on those present. During the week I got to minister at a men’s meeting at Citywide Church and also many individual meetings.

The highlight of this trip was the Crusade in Riverwalk with Pastor Louie Fife in Wangaratta. This city is about a three hour drive outside of Melbourne . Here we had a three day crusade in which we saw salvations, deliverances and the unadulterated power of God came down. I got to minister to the church, youth, and the staff on three different occasions. In one of the services people saw the alter full of angels and in the last service we had three salvations and three women came up to repent for planning to commit suicide.

This was a first for me as mid-service the Lord spoke about persons planning to take their lives and three ladies came up to repent, PTL. The following week was a service at Life Center with Pastor Dave Harris in Bendigo . Here we had revival as the Holy Spirit came down in a powerful form during praise and worship. People’s eyes were opened to the heavenlies and a deacon saw an 8 foot angel on the roof proclaiming the return of Jesus.

At the end of the service, the joy and laughter broke out and we had children swimming in the River of Life . They were actually swimming as in a heavenly river of life on a wooden floor. Many had deep revelations and visions that changed their lives. Thanks to Bannon and Winnie our hosts in Melbourne and Bryant and Trudy at Liberty Farm in Wangaratta. Blessings to the Salmeron family for the prayers and the send off at the airport. We hope to return to Australia later this year.

Praise the Lord for His multiplied blessings in my recent evangelistic and ministry trip to Asia in April. The first meetings were held in Singapore, beginning with a youth service at the Centre of New Life, the Pastor being Lawrence Ong. Over 50 youth attended, and the Lord manifested His power, blessing us with six salvations, along with deliverances and inner healings. On Sunday, the 9:00 a.m. Service was in Mandarin, and 11:00 a.m. In English; we praise the Lord for the 5 salvation decisions.

On Monday, I flew to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, and Pastor Albert Ong and Silas, a lawyer received us over there. The following day I had the privilege of praying for over twenty children at the Good Shepherd orphanage. At noon of that same day, there was ministry done at the Full Gospel meeting in Klang, and then we drove 3 hours to our destination in Ipoh where we stayed in the Heritage Hotel. The following day, the Lord gave us a noon service at the Vineyard Rehabilitation Center, with the Pastor Jeremiah Padnian. In the evening service at Vineyard, the Lord blessed us with eight decisions for Christ. Thursday morning found us at a 7:00 a.m. Service, where over 100 men were anointed and prayed for. That afternoon we prayed at the Blessed Hope Orphanage, directed by Albert Morris. At the Senior Center later that day, we prayed for the Pastor and staff there.

On Friday, the Lord blessed with the opportunity to preach at the Full Gospel meeting in Klang, Malaysia, and the following evening, I preached in at the Blessed Hope Church with ministry to those attending extending till 1:30 a.m. The language used there is Bahasa, so my speaking was interpreted from English to Bahasa. The members of the congregation are of the Sarawak tribe, who had been violent head hunters before, until salvation in Jesus Christ came through the preaching of the Lord's Word in that area, in the 50's and 60's. The ones who had preached to them were from the Melbourne Bible School, and the Evangelistic Mission of Borneo. This is an indigenous jungle movement, and when these tribes were evangelized, entire villages came to the Lord upon first hearing God's Word in their language!

On the following Sunday, we preached a morning service at the Sekinah Glory Church, with Pastor Rajan. The entire congregation of over 80 members were prayed for and anointed. In the evening we held a Nepalese service, with the church being filled to capacity, we praise the Lord for the 20 salvations there. That evening after the service we drove to Kuala Lumpur again. The following day, we enjoyed a tour of the city, and on Tuesday we had a tour of the Petrona Towers and met with a couple of businessmen including Mink Ong. Going to Klang by bus, we ministered at the shipping business, with Lillian Tan, one of the managers. In the evening, it was a blessing to minister in the Good Samaritan Orphanage, and following that, we had a late flight back to Singapore.

The following days we ministered at Calvary Center Church, Gateway International Church, and a Full Gospel meetings with many salvations. The next Friday, after a flight to Borneo, we had a youth meeting with over 50 in attendance (this was an underground service, because Christians are persecuted). Saturday the Lord prepared the way for us to have a service at a brand new theater, with large numbers attending. On Sunday we had two services in the same theater, with 9 finding Jesus as Saviour in the early service and 5 in the second service. That evening I met with local pastors in the Malaysian border. Monday back in Singapore, ministry was done with Chris Wong of an area called Little India. We also got together with some of our sponsors over there, Caroline, Tom and their son Joshua.

Thank you so much, our partners in the ministry of the Lord. You have come along side of us, and given us a helping hand, to take all the Gospel to all the world. Your gifts are so much appreciated, but above all your prayers, because without them we wouldn't be able to go where we go and do all we do. If you would wish to donate now, you may go to our donations page for mailing instructions or give through our secure website. We know that the Lord will richly recompense your giving. May richest blessings be yours,

In Jesus, Milton Alvarez...

Bringing the fire to Grand Cayman!

Dear ministry partner,

We are so thankful for all God has done on this latest ministry trip. The Alvarez family went to minister for a week on the beautiful island of Grand Cayman, April 3-9. From the very beginning of the trip we were able to spread the Gospel in the form of tracts, especially in the Newark airport where we were for 12 hours.

Upon arrival at Grand Cayman we began to minister, Joshua in a youth service on Friday the 4th in West Bay, and Milton at the Full Gospel Businessmen's breakfast the following morning. Eneida ministered at the Lord's Church on Sunday evening. The next day found Milton reaching male prisoners and Eneida with female prisoners in the respective prisons. Tuesday the 8th Eneida shared in a Women's Conference, and simultaneously Joshua was ministering in the Men's Conference.

In all the events, the Lord worked wonderfully, with signs and wonders accompanying His Word. Joshua writes, "In one of the meetings, a young man came in totally drunk. He was saved, then as we prayed over him, he received deliverance and was baptized in the Holy Spirit. There were wonderful healings and deliverance, one lady with walking problems totally restored, another young woman was totally freed from the enemy's bondage, and other signs and wonders were seen. Praise the Lord for many young people dedicating their lives to Jesus and to work in His ministry."

Eneida shared in the Women's Conference about Deborah and challenged the ladies to arise to God's call on their lives and serve Him with all their hearts. Joshua preached on "Hannah, a desperate woman," and how we, like her, need to be desperate for God, and get out of our spiritual barrenness.

The entire trip can be summarized by what a pastor on the island said: "I thank God for the Alvarez clan, because as a family of ministers, they have come to us and have revived the fire within us and have breathed life through the Holy Spirit into the dry bones." Joshua says, "I thank the Lord because He has shown His power on this trip, with many signs and wonders following His Word. There is not enough space to give all or even a part of the testimonies of the glorious things the Lord did!"

Thank you so much, our partner in the ministry of the Lord.

Australia Ministry Trip

Dear Friends,

Praise the Lord for His blessings on our recent outreach in Australia, Dec. 28-Jan. 17. He made it possible for Joshua to accompany me this time, and it was a blessing to minister together in church services and special meetings. We flew from Los Angeles on Dec. 28th, arriving on Sydney on the 30th (day change!).

We preached that same day at the Rock Church, and also attended the famous Hillsong Church, where we know the worship leaders. In Melbourne we ministered in the New Year's Eve Service at the Good Shepherd Church, were there again leading a prayer service on Jan. 2, with Pastors Gustavo and Griselda.

Jan. 4 saw ministry at the Remar Rehabilitation Center at King's Lake, with Louis Brito, while Joshua was at the Planet Shakers Conference. We had powerful services in the following days at Christian Assemblies of God Church (Pastor Lucky), Emmanuel Church (Pastor Rene Lopez), and Tyabb Door of Faith (Pastors Ivan Pyars and Frank Clancy). Joshua meanwhile was at Rose of Sharon Church and Hope Generation Church.

The three day Prayer Summit at Yarra Junction was of great blessing (40 attendance) and Carmelina's father accepted the Lord in the final service, PTL! The following days we had preaching at Pearsdale, the Insight Conference at the Stamford Hotel, and Rose of Sharon Church, plus fellowship time with Pastor Kameel Majdali.

Other churches ministered at were City Life Spanish, Beulah Community Church,Christian Retreat Center, Christian Life Assembly of Salvation, as well as home meetings (pastors Ross Blaney, Pastor Steven Teo, Pastor Marroquin, Pastor Attila Siha, Josephine Holloway, Mohan's, respectively).

Praise the Lord for all He did, and for using us for His glory!
Rejoicing in Him, Milton Alvarez

Here is a report from Joshua on his experiences and impressions of the trip:

Praise the Lord for our recent trip to Australia. I have so many good reports and would like to use more space to write, but in brief: We saw so many healings and salvations. God showed His glory to us. I was able to preach in five churches, and see lives changed forever.

I had reports of healings from people in different meetings, including a lady with arthritis, another of curvature of the spine, and many more. The word that the Lord brought forth in these meetings was awesome too. My last meeting, at Christian Life Assembly of God, I got sick just before the service, but I knew that there was going to be a mighty work done there and it was satan attacking. As I went to the platform I didn't know what I was going to say, but the Holy Spirit took over at that moment and the word that came forth was powerful.

Then the glory of God fell, and people were touched, truly an amazing time in the Lord.
In all, I enjoyed this trip all the way through, those that hosted us and were with it made it very enjoyable, and it was a great pleasure also to be traveling with my dad and to just be with him. The Lord also blessed our ministry time together in Los Angeles.

God is pouring out His Spirit on Australia, and revival through the Holy Spirit is coming to the great Southland. We will keep praying for Australia, and asking God to continue to let us have a part in His great move, in this great land of people hungry for God.

- Joshua Alvarez
