Israel Ministry Trip 2011

What a timely and God driven trip we had to the Holy Land!
On Tue. Dec. 13, 2012 we blasted off from PDX to meet as a family in Tel Aviv. Eneida left on Delta and Joel and myself flew on Continental Air lines with the ultimate goal to rendevouz at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.

On Wed. Dec.14, we arrived at 4:30 PM within 2 hours of our perspective flights and were met by Hosein which is an Arab believer to take us to our abode in Jerusalem. We had 5 suitcase which were stocked with sports equiptment and food for the Hills which blessedly put us up in Jerusalem. They manage the Israeli Footbal league and also teach the Palestinians in their basketball league. After a long trip rest was needed but Joel was hungry for Shwarma which was right around the corner.

From this moment on the ministry exploded for our time there. We drove over 1,000 kilometeres as we went to minister in Eilat and Taba, Egypt. From their we ministered in Tel Aviv , Abu Ghosh and Jerusalem. We gave tracts to the Israeli soldiers, prayed with the Palestinians and minister to the Sudanese refugees. We got to testify at the Baptist House in Jerusalem and Angel Gerbers congregation in Tel Aviv. Highlights were tours to Masada, Ein Gedi and the Dead Sea. By the time we left on Dec.30, 2011 we felt that God had opened so many doors and much accomplished.

With the victories also comes the retaliation in attacks by the enemy. We understand that this puts us in the position to examine ourselves before the Lord. All in all we thank the Lord on the part of Eneida, Joel and myself to have the privilege to return to our eternal home in Zion. Next week I am off to London and Paris and would covet your prayers in Yeshua.
